The homeowners of this ocean-front property undertook a gut renovation with their friend and kitchen designer Karen Swanson, along with architect Remko Breuker, to reconsider their traditional style family home to represent a more modern approach for the couple as their kids transition into adulthood. 

Throughout the home, the interiors are infused with a modern aesthetic that merges new and old elements in a fresh, contemporary way.  Working closely with the client, furniture with clean lines, statement lighting, unexpected pattern and color were selected.
